Take charge of your own
future in Early Childhood Care & Education!
The State
of Georgia is upgrading its Professional Development System to require higher
quality training and education for practitioners working with young children.
Since research shows that more education equals better practices, Georgia is continuing to increase the credentialing requirements for child care providers.
All providers should consider at least earning a Child Development Associate
(CDA) Credential, in an effort to offer Georgia’s children quality early
learning experiences and appropriately prepare them for kindergarten. Remember,
“Kindergarten is the new first grade”. So, the more prepared or “ready”
children are when they leave child care and Pre-K, the better they will perform
in grade school. Are you up for the challenge?
